Honoring the name

Yahweh (יהוה) is the most sacred and personal name of God, revealed to Moses in Exodus 3:14 when He declared, “I AM WHO I AM.” Written in the four Hebrew letters Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh (YHWH), this name reflects God’s eternal, self-existent nature—He was, is, and always will be.
Though most modern Bibles replace it with the title LORD, the original Hebrew preserved Yahweh nearly 7,000 times, marking it as His covenant name with His people. For centuries, reverence and tradition kept many from speaking it aloud, but the beauty and power of His true name were never lost.
